Harrogate Cure is a long-term programme for reviving Harrogate as Britain’s Living Spa. It reconnects the mineral waters, landscapes, buildings and rituals that shaped the town, turning a celebrated inheritance into a framework for contemporary health, culture and community life.

At a time when the connections between human wellbeing, nature and place are being understood afresh, the Cure asks what a spa town can mean now. It sees Harrogate not as a collection of heritage assets, but as a living system shaped by water, landscape, community and care.

The project needed both a compelling public identity and a strategic framework capable of holding together many places, partners and possibilities. Its identity, website and evolving programme create a shared platform for exploration, restoration, stewardship, events and long-term renewal.
